Last weekend a few families with small children at our church met up and went to the pumpkin patch. We had a great time and the weather was pretty perfect. It really felt like fall! Here are the pics.
Jonah loved playing on the tractor. Daddy wants to try to make him one of these.
All the kiddos trying out the corn box. Jonah wasn't a big fan. I don't think he knew what to do. LOL
Having fun on the hayride. The place we go to is called Riverview Mounds Century Farm. The farm is 177 years old and in it's 7th generation of the same family running it. The hayride takes us down to where the old Indian burial and ceremony mounds are, up on a big hill that overlooks all the surrounding countryside. It was really pretty and probably even more so when the sun is shining.
Jonah and Daddy went down the big slide/tunnel. You can't tell but Michael was behind him in the tunnel.
Playing on the old tractor. I got this same/similar shot of him on the tractor last year. Love it!
These two can't get enough of each other. I think it is too sweet. Jonah definitely is a Daddy's boy most of the time. I am just thankful that Michael is such a great Dad and WANTS to be involved in everything we plan and do.
The big sand box was a hit. He could have stayed in there for a long time playing around.
I thought this shot was too cute of him and Kaiden digging together. Boys just know what to do when it comes to dirt and digging.
He was telling us how big the pumpkin is.
He just knew he could pick it up!!
I love this shot and I wasn't really even trying to get a good one. I just snapped it. Love it when that happens! LOL
These were the strangest pumpkin variations hat I had ever seen! They all had those small mounds on the top of them. They are pretty colors though.
We had to include this shot for Jonah's Nana, who hates mice/rats and can't even stand to look at fake ones.
This year Jonah was big enough to ride the barrel train by himself and he loved it! He was not afraid of it at all and it was kind of bouncy to ride in but the driver went really slow so that was good. I was worried he would want to bail halfway through but he loved it.
The only family shot we got thanks to the nice train driver.
Jonah was wore out when we left and fell asleep easily. Right before he did though he was just hugging his "puppy" so tight. It was too cute.
Later that evening we went to my Aunt's house to celebrate my Grandmother's 85th birthday. It was a very special night of visiting with family and getting to see some family that came in from Knoxville for the special event that we usually only see once a year. It was a wonderful fall evening and we had a bonfire and lots of toys for Jonah to play with. It was a very blessed weekend indeed!!

Cute pictures!
ReplyDeleteThe barrel Jonah is in looks a lot more comfortable than the ones we rode in. I will never try to stuff myself into one of those again! My husband and sister agree. Ha!
Ha! Too funny! Thanks we had a great time.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun day! LOVE that picture of Jonah with the big pumpkin--a framer for sure!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute pictures. I love that pumpkin patch, we've been to river view a few times and it's great for the kids. (we lived in Clarksville)
